Kelly Koetters, DVM

Dr. Koetters (pronounced Ketters) is a 2009 graduate of Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine, in Pomona, CA. She completed her undergraduate studies in Animal Sciences at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana then graduated again with a Chemistry degree at Quincy University. She grew up with ferrets, prairie dogs, many many cats, a couple large dogs and her cockatiel all of which only added to her fervor of becoming a veterinarian. She has a history of working with horses (large and small), dogs, cats, and occasionally exotic pets.

Dr. Koetters is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, Tazewell County Veterinary Association, and Mississippi Valley Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Koetters and her husband, Brad, have a precocious daughter, Payton, and 3 cats: Monkey (short haired grey tabby), Callie (long haired calico), and Woofie (short haired yellow tabby).
